The GB software tools will guide you step by step through the assembly process. Each GB software tool will generate two types of outputs:

• A detailed lab protocol to achieve the assembly of your choice. You only need to carefully follow the indications in the protocol in order to get your assembly.
• A sequence file (gb file) containing the final assembled sequence. You can open your file with your favorite sequence viewer and keep detailed track of your assembly at the nucleotide level. If you don't have a preferred sequence viewer we can suggest Benchling.
